I was so scared and nervous to take the pictures, and I thought I was going to look ugly, but when we started taking them she told me it was going to be fine and I started feeling more comfortable and great about the situation. CONSULTATION & PLANNING MEETING
This is where I get to meet you and your parents in person for the first time! We'll talk about locations, what your vision is for your session, show you the product options that are available to display your final images in/on, and if we're the right fit, we'll schedule your Session and Design & Ordering Appointment!
SENIOR
SESSION
This is YOUR day! You've waited a long time for this! You've chosen your two locations, you're bringing your
favorite outfits and accessories, you may have chosen some of the props that I have for you to borrow, and now it's time to take those amazing images of you, and show you just how beautiful you are!
DESIGN & ORDERING
APPOINTMENT
The day is here! It's time for you and your parents to select your absolute must have images from your session, and to choose which products that you'd like to display them in/on, and which ones that you'd like to give to family and friends.
Warning: Sometimes the dads cry during the slideshow ;-)
ORDER
PICK-UP
I get so excited when orders come in, it's like Christmas, and then I get to experience it all over again when you open everything for the first time!!!
Your order will typically be available for pick-up 4 weeks after your Design & Ordering Appointment - I'll call to schedule a pick-up time.
FAQ's
How far in advance do we need to book our portrait session?
We recommend booking your portrait session as early as possible to secure your preferred date. Popular dates, especially the weekends, tend to get reserved quickly. Ideally, you should contact me at least 3 months in advance to ensure availability. I understand that sometimes plans come together on shorter notice, and I'll do my best to accommodate last-minute bookings whenever possible.
Can we request specific poses or styles for our portrait session?
Absolutely! I encourage my clients to share their vision and preferences with me. Before your session, we'll have a consultation to discuss your ideas, style, and anything specific that you have in mind. I believe in tailoring my photography to your unique needs - because YOU ARE UNIQUE - ensuring that the final results reflect who YOU are.
What about the weather?
We are at Mother Nature's mercy. I keep an eye on the weather starting a week out, and look daily. If it looks to be bad, I will contact you the day before to reschedule.
What is a typical turnaround time from our Design & Ordering Appointment to when we receive our product order?
My standard turnaround time for you to pick up your product order is typically 4 weeks. This includes my professional lab turnaround time, and I prioritize quality in my post-production process, to ensure each product meets my high standards before you pick it up. If you have any specific deadlines or urgent requests, please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate them.
Do you offer digital files?
I do! They are available in my top 2 Designer Collections. What I find is that clients don't really want full resolution digitals, they just want social media sized files to share with family and friends on their social media. I offer those too!
What can I expect my investment to be?
Carol Dunnigan Photography is a full service photography business. All clients are charged a booking fee at their consultation. Investments for products can vary, depending on what selections you make during your Design & Ordering Appointment. I offer a la carte pricing and Designer Collections, and I help you along the way to choose which option(s) are best for your family, and your budget.
