Cloudy days make for some of the best senior portraits, and Jonathans cap and gown session was no exception. As a Northern Colorado senior photographer, I love overcast light because it brings out deep, rich colors and smooth skin tones. No squinting, no harsh shadows-just clean, vibrant images that highlight my seniors perfectly.
Jonathan is a graduating senior from Roosevelt High School in Johnstown, Colorado. Ive had the chance to work with him this year as part of my Carols Crew team, and its been such a great experience watching him grow and bring his personality into every session. Hes easygoing, quick to laugh, and brings great energy behind the scenes.

For his cap and gown session, Jonathan stayed true to his style. He showed up in cowboy boots and brought along his cowboy hat. I love when seniors bring props that reflect them. Those little details bring out so much personality in their images and make the session feel authentic and real.

After graduation, Jonathans thinking about going into construction or working at an auto parts store. Hes got a strong work ethic and a great head on his shoulders, so I know hell thrive wherever life takes him.
Jonathan also shared what being part of Carols Crew meant to him:
Being on the team has been so fun. Ive been able to explore more about modeling. Personally, I would recommend becoming a member of Carols Crew because 1) its fun 2) you meet new people and its just overall a good time.
If you or your teen are thinking about senior portraits and want more than just a one-time photo session, come check out Carols Crew high school team for Freshmen, Sophomore, and Juniors. Its more than pictures-its a way to build confidence, make friends, serve in the community, and create memories all year long.
Congrats, Jonathan! Class of 2025 is lucky to have you representing.
