What Is a Senior Rep Team? Everything Northern Colorado Juniors Need to Know About Carol’s Crew

If you’re a junior in Greeley, Fort Collins, Loveland, or anywhere else in Northern Colorado, you’ve probably heard the term ‘senior rep team’ floating around, or maybe you’ve heard whispers about something called Carol’s Crew. Either way, let me break down exactly what this is, what you’d actually get out of it, and why juniors all over NoCo are excited to join.

What Is a Senior Rep Team, Anyway?

A senior rep team (also called a rep program or ambassador program) is basically this: you’re a junior in high school who loves photography, loves being seen, loves to make new friends, and wants to be part of something special during your senior year. You work with a photographer to create content, build your portfolio, make friends with other seniors, and get professional photos that actually feel like you, not generic yearbook shots.

But here’s the thing, not all rep programs are created equal. Some are all about the photographer getting free content. Carol’s Crew? It’s the opposite. It’s about celebrating you, your friends, and making your senior year unforgettable.

Here’s What You Actually Get in Carol’s Crew

When you join Carol’s Crew, you’re not just getting one session and calling it a day. You’re getting a full experience:

Your Individual Carol’s Crew Session

This is where it all starts. Before you’re photographed with the team, you get your own individual Carol’s Crew session, justyouandme(andusuallyaparent), getting comfortable working together. If you play a sport or are part of a club, I love incorporating that into your session. If not, we’ll come up with something fun that fits you. Once we’re done, you’ll get your own social media app loaded with five images from that session, ready for you to share right away!

This is separate from your actual senior portrait session, which happens in May or June before your senior year, before all the chaos kicks in. Think of this first session as the warm-up, a chance to build trust and have fun together before the real deal.

Your Individual Senior Session

This is the big one, your actual senior portraits. It happens in May or June, right before your senior year kicks off, so you’re not scrambling for dates once school starts and life gets packed. This session is fully yours: your style, your story, your vision for how you want to be remembered.

As a Carol’s Crew member, you get priority booking on these May and June sessions. But more than that, you’re walking in having already worked with me at least once before, so there’s no awkward first-time jitters – just two people who already know how to work well together, ready to create something incredible.

Quarterly Styled Shoots Throughout the Year

Four times a year, we do group styled shoots – think themed photoshoots, fun locations, creative concepts that you won’t get anywhere else. You’re required to attend at least one, but honestly, most crew members want to do more. And here’s the best part: I work around your schedule if I can. I actually poll the team to see what times work for everyone, because I know you’re busy. Your schedule matters.

Access to Your Social Media App

Every shoot throughout the year, your individual Carol’s Crew session, the quarterly styled shoots, everything, gets uploaded to a private social media app that’s just for you. You get social media-sized photos from each shoot, perfect for downloading and sharing on Instagram, your stories, wherever. It’s your content, your gallery, ready to post anytime.

Community Service

This isn’t just about pretty pictures. Carol’s Crew does community service together. You’re part of something bigger than yourself, and that matters.

Exclusive Events

Throughout the year, crew members get together for exclusive events just for Carol’s Crew. Think pizza party icebreaker at the start of the year, Christmas party celebrations, and other special moments together. It’s about being celebrated and being part of an inner circle, not just showing up for photos.

Being Seen

Here’s what I think matters most: you’re not just a client. You’re part of a crew. You’re featured on social media, celebrated in our community, recognized for who you are. Senior year goes by so fast, and I want you to feel like you actually mattered during it. Because you do.

Who Should Apply?

Carol’s Crew is open to high school juniors only. If you’re a junior and you love the idea of professional photos, making new friends, being part of something exclusive, and actually enjoying your senior year instead of just surviving it – this is for you.

You don’t need to be an influencer. You don’t need to be “picture perfect.” You just need to show up as yourself and be ready to celebrate this milestone with people who get it.
