What if I'm awkward in front of the camera?
Honestly? Most people tell me they're nervous before their session, and that's completely normal. You don't need any modeling experience or know how to pose. I'll guide you every step of the way with natural direction, encouragement, and plenty of laughter. By the end of your session, most people tell me they had so much more fun than they expected and are amazed at how relaxed and confident they look.
What makes your experience different?
I keep my calendar intentionally small so every client gets my full attention. From our first consultation to the moment your order arrives, I'm with you every step of the way. I guide you through poses, help with outfit planning, and make sure the whole experience feels relaxed and fun, not stressful.
How far in advance should we book?
Spring and fall are my busiest seasons, so I recommend reaching out 2 to 3 months in advance whenever possible. Seniors often book even earlier to have the best selection of dates and locations.
Do you help with outfit planning?
Yes! During our consultation we'll talk through outfits together. I'll give you tips on what photographs well, what to avoid, and how to put together looks that feel like you. I want you to feel confident and comfortable from the moment we start shooting.
Can we request specific poses or styles?
Absolutely. I love when clients bring inspiration photos or a Pinterest board. It helps me understand your vision so we can create images that feel personal to you. That said, I'll also guide you through poses so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands!
What locations do you photograph at?
I photograph throughout Northern Colorado, including Ault, Greeley, Fort Collins, Loveland, Windsor, Eaton, Severance, Wellington, and nearby communities. Together we'll choose a location that fits your session and style. Travel outside Northern Colorado is available for an additional fee.
What about the weather?
Colorado weather has a mind of its own and I totally get it. If we need to reschedule due to weather, we'll find a new date that works. I'd rather push the session than rush through it in bad conditions. Your images are worth waiting for. If we need to reschedule because of weather, there's no additional charge.
How long until my order is ready?
Your products are typically ready within 4 weeks of your Design & Ordering Appointment. I'll reach out personally to schedule your pickup. Trust me, it feels like Christmas morning when your order arrives!
Do you offer digital files?
Social media-sized images are included with select collections through the Portrait Gallery App. Full-resolution digital files are also available with select collections or for purchase. We'll go over all of your options during your consultation.
What can I expect my investment to be?
I'd love to walk you through everything personally during your consultation. Every family is different, and I want to make sure you have all the information you need to choose what's right for you. I'll answer all of your questions so you can confidently choose what works best for your family, with no surprises and no pressure.
