Portrait Sessions
What makes your experience different?
I keep my calendar intentionally small so every client gets my full attention. From our first consultation to the moment your order arrives, I'm with you every step of the way. I guide you through poses, help with outfit planning, and make sure the whole experience feels relaxed and fun, not stressful.
How far in advance should we book?
The sooner the better! My calendar fills up quickly, especially in spring and summer. I recommend reaching out at least 2 to 3 months before you'd like your session. For seniors, booking early also means more flexibility with locations and timing.
Do you help with outfit planning?
Yes! During our consultation we'll talk through outfits together. I'll give you tips on what photographs well, what to avoid, and how to put together looks that feel like you. I want you to feel confident and comfortable from the moment we start shooting.
Can we request specific poses or styles?
Absolutely. I love when clients bring inspiration photos or a Pinterest board. It helps me understand your vision so we can create images that feel personal to you. That said, I'll also guide you through poses so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands!
What locations do you photograph at?
I photograph throughout Northern Colorado, including Ault, Greeley, Fort Collins, and Loveland. For senior sessions, my Essentials session is based in Downtown Ault and my Experience session opens up a wider range of NoCo locations. For family and branding sessions, location is determined during your consultation. Travel outside of the NoCo area is available for an additional fee.
What about the weather?
Colorado weather has a mind of its own and I totally get it. If we need to reschedule due to weather, we'll find a new date that works. I'd rather push the session than rush through it in bad conditions. Your images are worth waiting for.
How long until my order is ready?
Your products are typically ready within 4 weeks of your Design & Ordering Appointment. I'll reach out personally to schedule your pickup. Trust me, it feels like Christmas morning when your order arrives!
Do you offer digital files?
Yes! Digitals are included in several of my portrait collections and are also available a la carte. All digital files come on a crystal thumb drive. We'll go over everything at your consultation so you can choose what works best for you.
What can I expect my investment to be?
I'd love to walk you through everything personally during your consultation. Every family is different, and I want to make sure you have all the information you need to choose what's right for you. No surprises, no pressure. Ever.
