This post was brought over from my old blog site.We had a fantastic time here! We were celebrating our anniversary with a one week vacation. We stayedat
Sebastian Inlet State Park the whole time. We were at site 44 (the one in the picture w/the 5th wheel). Wewent in October and had a little
noseum problem when there wasn’t a breeze – other than that it was a great site. If you have a big rig, the area we stayed in would be the best area to camp. There were also a few very long pull-thru sites. The sites closer to the water are great for pop-up’s or tents, but smaller sites and closer together.
A nice museum. Fantastic fishing. Nice sites. Nice bathrooms. This is the onlystate park campground that is open 24 hours – for the fishing. You can enter the park all night to fish off the bridge or the jetty. Bait store. Beach, surfing, swimming. You can also swim in the inlet. We saw a manatee there while we were trying to snorkel. Water was too stirred up from the rain and the boats at that time of day. ABSOLUTELY NO CELL PHONE RECEPTION! I was trying to stand on top of my camper to get reception. One guy was standing near the bathrooms trying to….
Many museums and nature preserves in the area. We had a great time.

Fishing bridge at night.
I love that these guys “posed” for me before a storm.
Sea Grapes
If you go here, make sure to visit
Captain Hiram’s. It’s a bar/restaurant about 1/2 an hour away. It’s got many outdoor bars and covered bars. We went one day and watched the Bears game. They also have boat rentals. Live music.
